I was out on I-10 heading west in Texas one time. It was the section where the speed limit is 80mph or is it 85mph...whatever it is, its freaking moving. Nothing out there and it was windy and I was coming up on a dancing rig. It was crazy watching that trailer just sway back and forth and how the driver kept it going…

Yeah and around here there are times where its two lanes, so you could be trapped between the rig and a freaking cement barrier...not cool, not cool at all. However I see people sit there, text, put on makeup and just lolly-gag.

I should have used the word “Trailer” instead of “load”. If its just the Rig its self I have no problem being next to them where I know they can see me, however I sure don’t hangout.

This is why I never pace big rigs with a load. I’ve never seen this happen, however its always been in the back of my mind...what if. I also wont pass a rig with a load unless I can clear the whole distance in one quick blip of the throttle.

Didn’t these also go by some other name then Lazer/Daytona? We had one in the early-mid nineties and I don’t recall it being called either. It was a fabulous shit brown and ran maybe 50% of the time. Thing would just die while driving and refuse to start for a day or so.
