I cannot star these comments enough. The regular exposure to other kids has been SO important for our kiddo. We just can’t offer what a daycare does in terms of socialization and the positive effect it has is amazing.

again, the entire US-born roster of the seattle sounders went to a college, including Jordan Morris and Yedlin and many of whom are under the age of 25. So clearly it is not.
My point is that as long as we continue to allow our best talent to go to the NCAA we are impeding their growth. That it remains standard practice is the problem.
as an example, as far as I can tell the majority (maybe even all) of the Seattle Sounders US-born players played NCAA soccer. It’s not that some players are going NCAA, it’s that ALL of them are.
