My wife (she’s the average wife of a car enthusiast so she notices things most people don’t but she’s not really that into cars per se) saw one of these while I was driving the other day and quickly pointed it out and said, “eww, what is that?!” I explained that it was an overly priced convert-UV that no one wanted

Once found the previous owners checkbook underneath the center console. Not sure how it got there as I found it when pulling out the center console and shift boot and all when I pulled the engine and transmission. I would’ve called the guy and given it to him but it had been over a year since I bought it and I could

Rear wheel bearing replacement and starter replacement on my e46 328i... I’m not looking forward to doing either repair on it

I loved the article, as always, but I kept secretly hoping at the end you would say that you actually towed your Skyline with the Hummer to the track and got to drive them both... Although, I should probably watch the video before commenting.

More efficient for the engine, not mileage wise. You do get worse mpg's with ethanol but it burns cleaner and makes your engine last longer. The high price you pay at the pump for ethanol free gas evens out the mpg's when you look at paying less for ethanol but getting less mpg's. And after the ethanol is produced,

Fuel with 10% ethanol doesn't seem to do anyone any favors, and yet it's still all over the place. Lets just hope 15% ethanol doesn't become a thing.

Second: There is no legal Nissan Silvia S-15 in the United States. None. Zero. If you are currently driving a Nissan Silvia S-15 in the United States, you are an outlaw; a rebel; you're the Jesse James of four-cylinder Japanese automobiles.

I spent a week or so a few years back looking into the whole Motorex scandal. I can't wait to read your article(s) on them. I'm still hoping for someone in Hollywood to make a movie about the whole thing. From starting out legit, then holding cars and illegally selling them as "certified repaired" when they weren't,

I agree with a few people that suggested importing a car under the 25-year classic car rule. As detailed as you are plus your writing skills, it would be awesome to see the process needed to buy, import, register, and drive a car like an R32 Skyline GT-R would be or even an earlier model GT-R (1st gen).

I've only been a frequent Jaloper for maybe 3 months but I've read all of your Ferrari articles and I must say you are one awesome writer/car owner. I can't wait for the article where you talk about what car you'll pursue next. Thanks for the enjoyment!

Jeep full-size J-Series trucks! I have a '71 J-2000 and it is an absolute beast with an AMC 306 cu in V-8! Plus it just looks so mean.

My comment on the previous article wasn't approved, but I still think the whole story of Motorex would make an awesome movie. The way they got legally approved to sell imported R33 GT-R's in the US is awesome in and of itself but then what happened after that already sounds like a movie. Plus the fact that there's

Motorex... The first time I read about what happened with them and how they single handedly ruined importing cars (before the 25 year mark) into the US, I couldn't stop thinking about how awesome of a movie it would be.

This guy I used to work with called me fast and furious every time he saw me because my car was lowered and had wheels and tint... He was walking on a fine line between just smiling and laughing it off and getting punched in the throat.

I'm with you on that one. Being an engineer pretty much ruins any action movie that attempts to defy the laws of physics. Although, I wouldn't trade it for anything!

Funny, Keselowski races just like Dale Sr. did but everyone calls Keselowski a doof. Jeff came down on Brad, Brad was faster so he went to fill the gap (like anyone else would do) and Jeff comes down on him to block. Jeff is just angry that he was about to get passed.

It looks like Jar Jar Binks...
