Me too! I can only speak for myself, but I think it’s because he used to be so inauthentic and hyper concerned about controlling his image and his press, and now he doesn’t seem to give a fuck what anyone thinks about him. I couldn’t stand Bennifer-era over-groomed leading man Ben, or Fake Suburban Family Ben, or

My old boss worked on a movie with Jack Nicholson. Whenever the paps showed up, he’d pause for a minute, say “OK guys, snap snap snap,” let them take their pics, then go on about his day. Jesus fucking Christ, it takes a million times more effort to walk backwards through a parking lot like a loon

Yes, even his exes have only good things to say about him. There are far worse vices out there than an inability to handle long term relationships.

OMG that is awesome. I think he was actually famous at some point though

Yes, Prince somehow managed to look absolutely smashing in clothes that I would swear were based on my Aunt Ginny’s cocktail pantsuits circa 1964.

Yeah, in 10 years in LA I would sometimes see people reacting when the star’s head was turned, but they generally left them alone. It’s weird when I see footage on TMZ of people lining up to take selfies with stars, bc I never saw anything remotely like that. And I would see Paris, Lilo and that group at the Grove in

Once I was waiting for my groceries to be scanned at Whole Foods and sort of zoning out, staring into space, and made eye contact with John Tesh, like 6 lines away. He shook his head at me and made a chopping motion at his neck, like “Cut it out” as though I was gonna abandon my groceries and rush over and attack him.

A couple weeks ago, I was kind of devastated to hear the Violent Femmes called old, and mocked because they wore white socks and sneakers to perform at a festival. So I feel you. That was a knife in the heart, because I assumed my fave band in high school would always been timelessly cool

Also, I would think someone in his family would have an account with a car service that he could use

For some reason, I always ended up at jobs or schools where I was surrounded by extraordinarily rich people. You’re right: self made rich people were generally pretty happy, and also very pleasant to deal with. Except for one really angry tech millionaire.

Exactly. And I actually enjoy the old character actors in the series, regardless if reviewers find them useless to the plot. They are just so damn fun to watch. And I like the practical car chases and stunts that don’t rely so heavily on CGI. I like a goofy brainless diversion sometimes. Not every movie has to be

Kanye: You made the second pregnancy your bitch

Kanye: Here’s something contrary to popular belief. I don't like thinking. I think people think I like to think a lot. And I don't. I do not like to think at all.

Kids movies in the 60's, 70's & 80's were fantastically creepy and scary. Even G Rated Disney stuff—- I just watched the original “ Escape from Witch Mountain” with my nieces and it scared the hell out of them and delighted them. I think it’s actually cathartic & healthy for kids to use books and movies to confront

Check out RedX in Riverside, MO. Not too far from KCK, and it's a cheap as hell little general store where you can get everything from liquor to fireworks to boots

Honest to God, I can’t hear enough about Heather’s new house, and I can't wait to see the pizza oven and the screening room

I’ve seen a ton of concerts and I worked in a live music venue, and Bruce ranks among the best shows I've ever seen. You will love it!

He went to Rockhurst High, a school that renowned for douchebaggery. My brother is 11 years younger than me and decided to go there bc it would look great on his college applications. I warned him that the kids were awful & I have hated every single student and alumni I’ve ever met, but he refused to listen. He barely

She’s also spoken out about her post partum depression, too. I agree with you that it’s really important to remove the stigma around addiction and mental illness
