Timely.

Goldie and Kurt have a cottage the next lake over from ours. I’ve met them a few times and they are suuuuuuper nice. Like, you could mistake them for actually being Canadian they are so nice.

“Having a drunken stranger stalk you and show up in his underwear in your apartment is a beautiful thing!” He shouted at me. “Why are you treating it like it’s dirty?”

Best to not make internet diagnosis while also equating TERRIBLE BEHAVIOR = MENTAL ISSUES. He might have had a mental issue, but also might just have been an asshole. There are plenty of examples out there of so called “nice” men who refuse to ever take “no” for an answer. It doesn’t always end well for the woman

VW Beetle. In terms of all the numbers used to evaluate modern cars, they’re terrible. But many of us love them anyway, there’s just something special about ‘em.

yes.

Stuff like this always reminds me of the time when I went to London. I wanted to visit Abbey Road and did and saw all the messages written on the gates outside and then thought, you know, why don’t I take my shoes off and walk across the road.

It’s when your movement stops being a rational one, based off of pragmatism and self-criticism, and starts becoming a religion, fanaticism based on dogma rather than discourse.

I wanted to see Sal tied up too.

I just wanted to know if Kitty divorced him or if they both suffered with false lives till they died.

No show is for everyone. But this was the ONLY show I ever made sure I watched when it aired, read recaps and then discussed with friends ad nauseam the next day. It got me on so many levels. Me too! I just started it again on Netflix. He was one of my favorite parts of the early seasons.

From pretty much the beginning, I was dying to see what would happen when everyone found out Don’s real identity. I just knew it would be so crazy and dramatic. I mean, this is a show that had someone lose a toe (foot?) in a lawn mowing accident INSIDE THE OFFICE. But nope. No crazy and dramatic reveal. No crazy and

I’m rewatching the show now and it just infuriates me what short shrift he got. HE DESERVED BETTER.

The problem here is not feminism. It’s the rather new university atmosphere of caked-on “fear” rearing its ugly head. Instead of engaging others’ arguments, many people in the current collegiate generation have decided that claiming one has been placed in an “unsafe” environment by the “offending” ideas is a more

It is a stunning example of feminism devouring itself.

This is really ridiculous. I’m all for college students speaking out against abuse or hate speak, but this was simply a critically thinking professor who has a different stance/opinion than some other campus feminists. Feminism is not a monolith! We are all allowed to have different feminist beliefs!!

Once again proving that college students have WAY too much time on their hands.
