Thank you for bringing this to my attention, because it might be the best thing I’ve read today. This group of tweet might be fav
The “Stop coaching, Pat” meme was great.
After Jagr tied Messier, my husband and his buddy were trying to figure out how many Art Ross trophies Gretzky would have won even if you took away some of the goals he scored. I think statistically speaking*, he still would have won at least seven. It’s insane.
Nighthawks would have been a great name. Much better than Golden Knights (but I do see how Chicago fans would be pissed if Nighthawks was the name).
+1 for Goneril/Regan
I feel for you. I work in a fairly large office, and pretty much everyone was completely aghast at the idea that he might commute between NYC and DC on a regular basis. And even worse, my bus goes on the FDR, so if he’s taking a chopper from the waterfront, I’m screwed. (The last time someone in the current…
As someone whose daily commute home is an Express Bus from 57th St. down 5th Avenue...it’s a fckin nightmare to consider. Traffic is already a nightmare, especially this time of year, but the prospect of this becoming a regular thing for four years is frightening. The MTA employee who oversees the express schedule at…
That is an absolutely awesome GIF. and totally the same reaction me and my husband had last night (twice!! Once when Bernard asked about the door, and then with the blueprints).
I can’t tell if you’re being a troll or not, but my point is in the irony of the situation that many folks are suddenly uncomfortable with an over-generalization about being lumped in with a certain group when the candidate they voted in office spoke in gross over-generalizations about many groups throughout the…
I keep seeing it all over social media, long missives along the lines of - “I voted for Trump, but I’m not a racist, misogynist, homophobe and here’s why- how dare you label me as such?”
A Swiftly Tilting Planet might be my favorite of the original Time series. Hopefully you’ll find it soon!!

I want to give this post all the kudos.

It was a really well written story, but the ending is heartbreaking. I understand passing, but it’s probably the last book that knocked me off my feet. I couldn't put it down.
The Silent Girls was pretty good and a quick read. I also really liked A Head Full of Ghosts, even though it made my heart hurt by the end of it.
I hated The Girl on the Train; every character was wholly unsympathetic and just not a likable or in any way redeemable. I finished the book because I couldn’t not finish it, but in reality, couldn’t care less about the fate of anyone in it.
