It took forever going through the list before I found a NY/tristate area show (and it was Steely Dan at that...) Depending on your musical tastes, there are some selections for PNC and Camden in NJ...

Depending on your musical tastes, Slipknot is one of the free shows (at least in the NY-NJ area; they’re always a lot of fun); Heart & Cheap Trick tour is also on the list.
I <3 Zoobilee Zoo.
Same boat re: my team and the Caps & the loathing, but was rooting for the Preds (soft spot in my heart as Rinne, Weber and Forsberg helped me to fantasy hockey victory last season). With them out, I’ll be rooting for the Sharks over the Blues (whose goalie situation basically cost me in fantasy hockey this year!) But…
+1 for the meme and the sentiment. I am in the same boat.
I hope so! I like the Preds a lot (soft spot in my heart since Rinne, Forsberg and Weber helped me to victory in my hockey fantasy league last year) — I hope the Round 2 series is a fun one to watch.
I picked the Preds to upset the Ducks in Round 1 on the Western Conference side of my brackets; it’s about the only thing I got right on that side of my brackets...
Just commenting re: rugby — it’s pretty fun the few times I’ve watched it. I didn’t know much about it before I went on my honeymoon to London, and it happened to be the Rugby World Cup. Our last night there, it was England v. Wales and it was just a fun atmosphere to watch and be part of. That’s also on the world…
I haven’t been to the Prudential Center in awhile for games (used to get corporate tickets through work), so I don’t know how attendance has been in the Devils arena. One of them will probably go, which is sad because I like the team rivalries....
I’m not surprised. It isn’t an arena built for hockey; watching a game there is awful. (Hell, even watching a concert there is a crapshoot). Add on that it’s not really getting the corporate draw for boxes/suites like MSG and other arenas, it’s no wonder both sides are trying to get out.
Bobby Canavale and Ray Romano were the only watchable ones in the premiere. I fell asleep 1.5 hours into it; according to the hubby, I didn’t miss much after that.
Not even a Bruins or a Leafs fan, but man, that was painful to watch.
“Kermit, you sarcastic fantastic green muffin.”
The books came out around the same time I think, so easy to mix-up. Especially with the Jane Austen connection :)
PP&Z is Seth Grahame-Smith, not Ben H. Winters (loved Android Karenina). Grahame-Smith also wrote Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (which is a far more enjoyable book than movie).
For me it depends on who’s posting. And i don’t know what’s going to happen now with the Gizmodo merge.
I understand that this is all clickbait. And it works in bringing people in, but even among the tamer comments, the resounding messages seems be to why even bother doing something like this? (ad dollars of course).
I completely agree there should be some nerd love at Jezebel. I don’t get the point of posting this article at all - especially because in the past I’ve had great nerd convos on Jez. Ok, possibly to troll, but it’s like it didn’t go over well at Gawker, so why do it again?
+1 there. well done.
If you’re going to include the prequels at all, the machete order is the best way to watch IMHO
