I don't know how I feel about this. Little Women is one of my favorite books from childhood; my mom got me an unabridged version when I was 9, and it was a movie tie-in addition, so right at the end of Part I - pictures from the movie! Loved it. Love the 1994 movie - it's nearly pitch perfect IMHO. And the book...it's…
This story is amazing. :)
The asshole is implied ;)
Exactly.
"I need another Long Island. And make this one goooood. I couldn't taste any alcohol in the last one," she told her.
The fiance and I immediately sat straight up on the couch last night and we both were like HOLY SHIT! We replayed it multiple times and the fiance sent a video to my brother who for some reason was missing the game last night.
She was the WORST.
I worked a 13 hour bar shift yesterday for the Super Bowl, got maybe about 4 hours of sleep before waking up to go to my 9-5 job, was having a miserable commute because of the shitty weather...and then watched this — and it completely made my morning. I was snort-giggling on the bus!
I, too, am a former server, and I usually wind up policing my friends' tipping behaviors, especially those who have never worked in the service industry before; I almost always am the last person to leave the table, just to make doubly sure the tip left is what is should be and if it's not, throw in the extra.
Thanks for the intel! I'll definitely add it to my list of movies to watch ASAP :)
I'll have to check it out. If there is one category of Oscars I always watch every movie of, it's the animated feature category (that's usually where the year's best movies are :) )
I can't believe LEGO Movie was snubbed — and the only reason I can think of is because it's not entirely animated. Which is bullshit.
This is one of the shows I watched all the time with my mom. Loved it, loved it, loved it. While Cabot Cove episodes > NYC episodes (seriously — how many murderers are there in such a tiny Maine hamlet!?), I loved the episodes set in Ireland, too. I think because the older guest stars kinda sounded like my…
Based on interviews I've read in which most of the young cast is fairly flippant about the source material and comic books in general, I have little hope for a good Fantastic Four movie.
My fiance's parents never married (his father eventually married, just not to his mother). He proudly wear his bastard status as a badge of honor. :)
This is exactly what I feel/think.
I work in a bar on Sundays & the top half of this article about the Giants sounds like every Giants fan in said bar on Sunday, cursing up a storm about the fade. How the hell do you not even try ONE running play? Or try something else on 3rd down when the fade didn't work on the first two tries?
