My suspicion is that this sort of thing was probably the root cause of the shooting of Brown. Roll in arrogant and self-entitled (standard PD procedure), promptly escalate the situation, then shit yourself and blast away once the situation gets predictably out of hand. I get the feeling that a lot of folks around here haven't had a lot of run ins with the police. Piss off a cop (which can take a surprisingly small amount of effort) and you'll be lucky to just get some harsh words and threats.

Referee stoppage is also a TKO and the ref is supposed to call the fight as soon as the fighter stops defending himself intelligently. There's no standing 10 count in MMA.
