I don’t trust used German vehicles to get me from my house to my job on well maintained pavement reliably. You want to press them into off-road duty? I think that’s what used 4Runners are for. That said, you forge ahead, you bold man. New segment: David Tracy with more expensive parts.

When I don’t even realize there are fender flares until you point it out - that’s when you know it’s a job done right. Everything looks like it fits and was original. So well done. THIS is how you restomod.

I have seen them race big block Mustangs and take them on a course. They were too quick in the corners for the Mustangs to keep up. If it were a wider open circuit, it may be a different situation.

Yup, 100% this. The Gladiator is ugly and you can’t convince me otherwise - bad proportions. The 4dr is a large part of what ruins it. This looks great. Sell this and I will buy it.

If 1/243,000th of this showed up in the new Gladiator, I may have been excited. Amazing these people work at the same company.

Remember when drones were called remote controlled planes?

Do these tires come as standard equipment on new Porsche coupes?

Not sure they worked. The ad mentions quite a few fluids in the vehicle.

    Leave it up to Playboy...

NYC attempt to ban soda, Other proposed laws planning to ban the advertisement of junk food, prevalence of signage in nature/state parks in the East constantly reminding people of the dangers of the ‘wild’ vs the ‘exist at your own risk’ mantra elsewhere, bicycle helmet laws, proposed law for the wearing of life

C’mon, we all see a lot of people around and a lot of balding people around, yet I think we’d agree this stands out. You seem to be going for something here - that’s all.

OK, I’ll ask: what’s with the hair?

They are not just ‘wanting a nanny state’, they are forever in the process of creating them. Look at the laws around personal freedom in say MA or NY vs the middle of the country. There is a lot of ‘protecting you from yourself’ laws in blue states vs others. I don’t think that’s a controversial view.

The poster child of the nanny state of MA IS her character. This move is surprising because people could get hurt trying to work on things themselves. Best to protect them with a licensed repair technician - that is the response I would have expected.

I want to like this, thought it would grow on me since I first saw it, but it hasn’t. The proportions are off. The bedside is too low vs the height of the roof. It just doesn’t look right where they grafted the bed onto the Rubicon. It looks like a bed was transplanted from another truck onto a Rubicon. My two cents.

    God bless 1990s Honda

It amazes me how flat that car is through the turns. It’s so dialed in.

Torque is more practical and all that, but RPMs are a much more fun way to get the job done in my opinion.

I feel your addiction. Bring a Trailer is pure crack. There are zero bargains to be had and you know it, but you still try to convince yourself it makes sense to bid on one of these cars - it haunts you as you go through your day. Evil temptress.

The lot has every car you could need...as long as it’s gray.
