    Fair point

Quick question, how old were you when this car came out?

I’m glad I read this comment and no longer think it’s just me saying this. I love BaT, but find myself routinely saying: ‘Good grief, everything here goes for full+ value’!

    I never questioned that

Hot take: This truck is dumb.

    Ah, thanks. Hope he’s alright.

Doesn’t Andrew usually review this stuff? Is he still alive?

How is calling someone a child, sexist?

For 2,400 years old? That’s intact.

I don’t know, this seems like we’re trying to come up with reasoning/excuses. Z28 sells cars but 1LE doesn’t? Pretty sure if Dodge’s 707HP car was called the 1LE, it would have done just fine. I have virtually no knowledge here: is a Mustang that much better than a Camaro that the sales difference should be that wide?

Maybe back then, this was just a Pilot before further large models.

I normally don’t like red cars unless they’re Ferraris and I’m normally not a huge Mustang fan...but good Lord that looks good.

Hmm. So I guess the question is what happens if you get pulled over for driving poorly, fail the field sobriety test, and pass the breathalyzer?

So what happens when you get pulled over for driving like an idiot and you’re clearly stoned - they have no way of prosecuting you for this? They legalized a drug before they are able to test for impairment as a result of it? This seems kind of nuts.

    Ah, professional journalism

    COTD

When the rock rails, red painted tow hooks, and winch hook are as gleaming, unscratched as they were the day they were born. When the number of places one could use a snorkel within 5 hours of where I live is essentially zero, I do in fact have a good idea of where they (haven’t) been.
I also know where I live and who

How many times does the average pickup truck/Jeep driver use their vehicle for pickup truck/Jeep things on a daily/weekly basis (to be clear, I am speaking of the non-commercial driver)? I suspect not many. A sports car driver can his car for sporty things all along the daily commute. That’s all.

I’m sure this has been written about somewhere, so sorry for the duplicate, but should I assume this isn’t coming stateside?

These are fair points. Essentially, CUVs are large station wagons. As boring as they are, they’re practical for the task at hand for the most part. I just wonder how many of these people would be better off buying a station wagon? Utility + handling.
