Canya’ name the truck with 4wheel drive, smells like a schnitzel and seats fünfunddreißig?!

I’ve heard a similar argument before. A sports car can be used all the time - back roads, on ramps, off ramps, highways etc. A truck, less so and most don’t. To be fair however, I’m the first one to criticize the person consistently driving the M3 like my grandmother. What was the point in spending that money?

In my suburban commuter rail parking lot, there’s a Jeep that has every bit of off-roading kit on it you could imagine and is the cleanest, shiniest vehicle in the lot (gleaming red painted winch hook and all). This person never has, nor will likely ever go off-roading. The dictionary says they’re a poser. If this

I guess that’s my point - I just find it interesting that these cars go away because no one was buying them and then the prices never come down because everyone wants one.

x2. I’ve been waiting forever for these things to become cheap - ain’t happening and I kind of don’t know why. If there was so much demand for them, you would think they would have had enough volume here for them to justify spending the money on making the safety enhancements.

    You can’t be serious

This is 100% the reason he mentioned Apple should make it. Kanye’s mind: Looks like an old iMac + Apple makes cool stuff = Apple clearly has the ability to make a ground breaking piece of ultra advanced aerospace engineering despite having zero experience with any of these things. My seven year old would make this

I never cease to be amazed at how they managed to only get 230hp out of a 305 V8. This is not the emissions choked era of the 70s. Yes, I know torque etc, but still.

I thought the same thing when I read the article title. 300 acres is cute in pretty much any state. Over time, I’ve gotten the impression most of their authors haven’t spent much of their lives outside of a city, so there’s that.

Is the SLK 55 AMG like the other SLKs - only available with a slushbox?

Right, so multiple tons, fake vents/intakes, fake exhausts, fake engine sound, gobs of unneeded driver aids/electronics, and no manuals are all now good things. Thanks, I’ll update the mission statement.

Holy shit. That’s all I can say to this.

The most important takeaway from this story is that it likely means the new Bronco will likely be an actual off-roader. I can’t see them putting a manual in it if it were just going to be the neutered CUV we fear.

True, and this is certainly an improvement, but nat gas still emits CO2.

Yes, I’m certainly no expert, but I was under the impression that vehicle emissions are actually not nearly as big of an issue as utility plants and home heating methods.

ft/lbs + Marketing team = engine turning power

Was this model for the Japan market, or did someone actually do a gloriously fantastic (and rare) job with the modifications (hood scoop etc)?

    Winner

    Good Lord, this is awesome

1995ish Acura Legend Coupe. Clean lines, great proportions, quality all around. A Japanese car in its prime.
