The problem with this thought process is that the REST of us on the road who aren’t FSD beta testers is that we’ve been unwillingly conscripted in the beta test. How do I know the knob in the Model 3 next to me with autopilot engaged is paying attention, ready to take over as the system suggests?

Both drivers were in the wrong. I’m willing to bet the Silverado driver could’ve coasted or limped to the side. The semi driver most likely wasn’t paying attention.

Guess how the offside crash tests came about. Everything works until it doesn’t.

Getting mad about a joke because you assume they assumed things.  Hilarious.

Sadly this. Coworker swerved to avoid a deer once, went off the road and hit a tree. It wasn’t a new car so ended up pretty much totaling it but insurance wouldn’t cover because “he” ran into a tree. If he had just hit the deer, it would have been an “act of God” and covered.

Incredible negligence, though shockingly common; I watch a lot of dashcam comps on YT and have seen soooooo many instances of drivers plowing straight into a stationary disabled vehicle (almost always with their hazards on) that it’s amazing. I just saw one the other day that featured no fewer than four separate

Someone is about to lose his CDL.

“So lemme tell you WHAT’S REALLY GOING ON out there!”

*CRUNCH*

Teslas aren’t even programmed to recognize snow or ice. They just accelerate through it like it’s not there.

Driven that exact stretch of highway many a time. No excuses for hitting a vehicle sitting in the middle of the highway there.

They hit a deer. The driver states the airbags went off. She then decided to apparently slam on the brakes and park her truck in the middle of the highway because she has no fucking clue how vehicles work or basic safety sense. There isnt a massive puddle of radiator and animal on the ground. The windshield isn’t

LMAO don’t hold your breath on that one.  AI experts have said we are DECADES from actual real full self driving.

Semi driver was probably making a Tik Tok, going on about how the ‘Freedom Convoy’ will rise again.

Or fiddle-fucking around with his phone and not watching the road.

Thank goodness she abandoned the car. And dealing with insurance over repairs from a deer hit would probably be more annoying than the trucker’s insurance paying for the totalled truck.

Perfect visibility, straight line, already almost out of its lane and no attempt at avoidance?  This driver needs a drug test, BAC test and logbook check...  Either high, drunk or asleep!

Forgot the “/s”?

Said Tesla nerds every year since 2015.

I’m amused you think people are smart enough to avoid loans with terms like that.

I’d love for a day to go by without hearing about this guy.
