That is, essentially, where the idea of the electric self-starter came from. Henry Leland, the man tasked with running Cadillac, lost a friend in 1910. That friend, Byron Carter, had stopped to help a woman restart her stalled Cadillac because she didn’t have the strength to crank it herself — a common issue for women

the amount of time people used to have to do all of this is staggering.

i almost did that. and then when i went to look at a few, it hit me.

yep, this isn’t an overlanding rig. this is a ‘LOOK AT ME, I’M ADVENTEROUS GETTING MY MORNING COFFEE’ truck.

all said and done, this is somewhere nearing $90k for a truck...

This is perfect for my commuting and “oh yeah, I need 6 2x4's and a sheet of plywood on the way home on Friday for that thing, or for carrying a lawn mower.

Yeah, I’m definitely interested in a little ev truck, but I’m not counting on anything until I see it actually for sale..

well, not fine.  just a little more twisted than the last.

that’s like eating a salad.

yep, i would prefer that they have a 1 minute timer with a chime or something before the car automatically applies the brakes.

lol, i always slow down to 20mph through school zones during the day when the lights are flashing. about 1/10 cars will honk, flash their lights, and flick me off as they illegally cross the double yellow and pass me doing at least 40...

honest question then:

lol, kinja is the feature, not the bug...

what kind of car is a ranger?

what did i want? 4 wheels to call my own, something fast, and unique...

let’s be honest— walmart is as far as 75% of f150-350 supercrew lariat julius ceasar edition trucks go anyways.

yea, i don’t feel these are deserving of the ‘ute’ term. imo, trucklet would also be acceptable

funny how trends change over 6 years, ain’t it?

i liked the concept. but jam-the-corporate-grill-on-everything is definitely hurting them here.

this was ford’s exact response for why they discontinued the ranger in 2011. a real f150 got similar mileage, for only a slight bump in price.
