reading this article, i realized that i can’t remember what i paid for my second car. but i remember all the rest. it was the first vehicle i financed through a bank, and purchased without my parents help, so i think i was mostly overwhelmed with the process...
about $50k, soon to be $80k, and barring any circumstances, is planned to stay that way for at least 15 years.
GM also had Quadrasteer in the early 2000's on their pickup trucks. it sold poorly, and was expensive to maintain.
can we get a list of things that aren’t illegal to have/do with a car? at the rate of the laws these days, it seems like it would be shorter. almost short enough to fit in a slide show.

look, if i’m buying a car with a specific feature, i expect to use that specific feature anytime i want, however i want.
doesn’t matter. in this case, it’s ballast.

i think the ven diagram of the people that know it’s a flower vs the people that think of using a broom handle a specific way would be pretty clear cut.
