It really did look slow though in some on-board video F1 posted from the car prior to the race. It SOUNDS good, but...

We could get really specific and say the Ford Model A was, maybe? Maybe the Dodge Dakota could count as well. Thanks for the clarification though. All I know is, I got a PT Cruiser hard top as a loaner once and I was never so miserable.

FCP Euro and Pelican for parts..

What?? No PT Cruiser on this list??

Nice. Good Luck and be safe!

Will the real Larry Shiteater come forward? Because somewhere...he’s out there

An Oligarch’s son complaining about cancel culture...adding that to the 2022 bingo card..

Had this happen with a radiator cap of all things. Took it off to burp/top up after new oil cooler installation.. then it disappeared.... I chalked it up to throwing it out accidentally with miscellaneous trash and packaging from the day so I grabbed the wife’s car and bought a new one. Two months later and many

What a jerk...off...

Indeed. This was back in the day when the Dip still existed. I remember my instructor tensing up everytime we started going down the hill to Turn 12..LOL

Oh no doubt! Mine was replaced by a first Gen CRX-Si so it was older than the Escort and MUCH better at pretty much everything. That CRX eventually became my race car. When the Mazda based Escort GT came out, it made the American version obsolete in every respect!

For me this is an “It depends” kind of thing. I had one just like this in white. It wasn’t great but it wasn’t bad, especially in street/highway use. For track use is where things went downhill, but again, some of the issues could be addressed, such as suspension. My first ever track event (HPDE) was at Road Atlanta

Came here for this and I am satisfied. As far as fuel efficiency, “it depends..” I don’t think 25-27mpgs is all that bad for this. That’s what I get consistently from my 2010

Right on the money with this one, Elizabeth. 100%.

At least you’re honest about why you like the Alfas. Kudos to you, Sir.

TBH, NC has tried and failed in the past to attract established auto manufacturing in the past (rail as well). I wouldn’t go so far to say that Cooper (Governor) is “anxious to cut a ribbon” as mentioned, but I do think NC did need something that wasn’t a traditional “high tech” company. We’re getting a bunch of tech

Okay Lawrence. You’re invited to the cookout..LOL

First wrenching job was an oil change on my first ever car (1988 Escort GT).

More races to come...

North Carolina: Speed Matching, Tailgating. Left Lane Chillin’ is the primary but basically, ANYTHING goes, especially as more people move to the state..
