Yup, it’s just cool to hate people who use vaporizers, so whenever something bad happens to people who do, it’s news. Remember when selfies were all the rage to hate on? It’s kind of died down a little now, but any time some idiot got hurt taking a selfie, it was news.
Exactly. Thank you. This is like an article saying ‘ooh, someone’s phone battery exploded in their pocket, that’ll teach people to not want to take photos, call people, use social media, stay connected, etc.’ :/
After reading the article and reading the comments from readers... I honestly feel this article is a bit misleading and causing unwarranted, negative comments.
Yeah, I’ve never expected unbiased anything, here, and the vape-hate trend is getting pretty thick just about everywhere. [shrugs]
This is pretty much it. This is the second article I’ve seen Gizmodo put out against vaping, which seems to tell me that the current popular trend is to bash the crap out of it.
Most vapes and vape batteries are made in China, so that’s not especially strange. Some batteries go bad. It happens when quality control is not so good.
