No tools, just "eyeballing" it. Horrendous frame rate drops are easy to spot, and a value of 60 gets easier to judge the more PC games you play. I'd imagine it's the same way for 120, but there's probably only one game my PC plays at that level, so it's usually 30-60 for me.

I pretty much only play 64 player conquest, but the biggest advice for PS4 owners has been "Don't play conquest large". It's likely you'll find extra mileage on either console by going this route, though apparently the damage for guns are bugged on the X1.

Again, piracy can't be stopped. I'm not saying that offering your show on Netflix will suddenly stop piracy, of course it won't! There's always going to be people who want free stuff.

Before I migrated over to PS4, I ran into problems. They didn't make the game nearly unplayable like the issues on PS4, but they were problems. I still hear bad things from my friends who still play on PS3.

Return it for a new one. You can also return it and buy a X1, or PC parts. Whichever works for you.

I'm just going off of what Jack Frags said in his competitive BF4 video, my PC likely can't handle the game. Checking Battlelog, I now know there was one or two patches since then.

Worse than BF3, even. I've decided to just play a mixture of Warframe, AC4, and FFXIV while I wait. Out of the last seven matches I played on PS4, three of them ended in crashes. I shouldn't even count one of those... I joined and finished the match late.

Keep in mind, this game's broken on all platforms. You can hardly play competitively on PC, what with the game being crash-and-disconnect happy.

I wasn't let down last-gen. I'm not even lying to myself, I genuinely enjoyed the PS3 and never felt I was missing out when I didn't own a 360. Multiplat titles generally ran better on the 360, and it has party chat, but I can't think of any other reason why someone would be disappointed... I really can't.

You seem to think I'm defending piracy, that I'm all for people playing games for free. I'm not.

BF4 runs better on PS4, and CoD runs better on the X1. Though I've heard both of the differences are minimal.

They really should have targeted 900p. Frankly, so long as the method used to upscale is good, I don't mind a lower base resolution. I absolutely loved Diablo on consoles, and that port looked great.

Which adds to a loss of detail. So no, you aren't fine with just turning up gamma.
