What I love about this show is that it gives you the instant clever slapstick humor while getting into deeper levels that requires you to re-watch the show a few more times to catch everything, which only adds to the enjoyment.

2) We have the freedom to choose, but the majority of choices we make come with requirements/costs of some sort. Even choosing to work for someone has requirements such as knowledge/skills, transportation to get to the job, attire for the job, etc…

We don't know what the power requirements are with Rick's ship, but for regular "earth cars", start up uses the most energy of the battery. Cars that won't start can still power the radio, A/C, and all the other accessories.

The new energy source was going directly to the inhabitants of the microverse. Rick needed his "goobel box" to be used in order to siphon off the energy made. Once they stopped using the box - no more power was going to Rick's ship.

Ah, but Morty does care. If Rick went to the forest, he would have just gone with the flow and showed the folks the best way to sacrifice those babies for maximum returns- but Morty was repulsed and disgusted, which is why he told them off just before they teleported.

Moral problems noted:

"Do you have anything more substantial or was that quote "zinger" attempt the sum total of your contribution?"

Zeep: "“I dropped out of school. It’s not a place for smart people.”

Yes, but the critique indicates that a "B" grade was a huge disappointment. My point is not every show should be expected to be top rated. A few "B's" should be perfectly acceptable.

You're too critical of this episode. You've been spoiled by the brilliance of the earlier episodes and so now expect every episode to be the quality of a season ender. Not every episode can be a complete masterpiece - putting that kind of expectation/pressure on them will cut the series short- or make them take 3 or

You can call it a "season finale", but in reality it was just the completion/airing of the 10 partially constructed shows That had been done before Adult Swim took McGruder off the project because of delays. As such it had no real cohesion of being a culmination of anything from the start.

I never said it was the best joke, but I thought it was funny.

I completely disagree with the "F" rating on this episode. I think the run of the mediocre episodes has altered your sense of appreciation for "true" material.

'“We’re gonna do some shit we already did and just pretend you didn’t see that shit the first time. That’s right nigga, we don’t respect your intelligence.” This is, as close as I can tell, the closest thing this season of The Boondocks has come to a statement of purpose…'

What Ed did was standard predatory capitalism that's been done numerous times. If someone wants to take over an area of land, first they sabotage the area to lower property values, then declare the area blighted and move to take over the land at cheaper price for their own purposes. All you need to do is historical

"Further, it shows how even the rich white man hurts from these actions, with Ed's admission that the neighborhood, where he owns/owned numerous businesses has fallen into disrepair and poverty. While he was allowed to build on Meadowlark Park, that seemed like more of a consolation prize than the culmination of some

The true insult to injury is while they seem intent to just focus on the most obvious jokes, they miss all the easy lay up humor based on past episodes.

One question- who was the "genius" that decided that Ruckus needed to appear in EVERY episode? It's ridiculous. The only recurring character with more airtime than Ruckus is Granddad.

The degradation of Granddad continues with him being reduced to a low life gold digger who coldly and carelessly abandons his dying gf once he finds out she's not an heir to the family fortune- stealing her jewelry off her during her final moments of life.

From what I've read on the board, the episodes being aired were based on Aaron's script work that was done prior to him leaving the show.
