There are some books and accounts from soldiers and journalists that talk about the dysfunctional chain of command between US and S. Vietnamese soldiers and lack of understanding of the terrain and culture of Vietnam which was the reason for the loss. The unpopular support added to it but that's not really a reason

That's not necessarily true. The Communism that was in place in certain countries wasn't the same despite similarities. There is plenty of testimony and research available now that discusses how the Russian influence was nowhere near as strong as people suggested back in those days

Don't worry. By the time you hit 40 the only things you'll enjoy are shitty sitcom repeats and beers!

Gravity Rush/Daze is definitely on my to play list. Haven't been this hyped for game since like MGS4. And yes the art director was indeed inspired by Moebius. He/She has said so on various interviews.

BLOPS MP was more balanced than MW3. It's campaign wasn't as exciting but the script made a lot more sense than 2 albeit the ending was corny. Would've liked continuing in the CW era to see what happen to Mason and the others. MW3 SP was superior to MW2's but the MP just feels too crazy compared to BLOPS

Don't feed the trolls!

Well played motherfugga! Well played!

Max Payne & DLC.....that combination just feels kinda....wrong. How times have changed

Yes because you can determine if I'm mentally underdeveloped because I type a sentence in Caps Lock. Brilliant. My point still stands, REVENGEANCE is a spin off that has more in common with Vanquish and Bayonetta in terms of tone and style than the past MGS. The first trailer at the VGAs was proof enough of this. It's

There's a 25 minute video explaining why Revengance is the way it is as well as what it is plus articles and Twiiter posts stating the comments that I'm talking about

The thing is will it be fun? People can write long articles and flamy comments about the subject but at the end of the day can you make some deep super intelligent game that's fun? I've never played Braid but I've seen many people say it was shit compared to other platformers that are more "juvenille" and that's what

Kojima has revealed on its Twitters months ago that it has nothing to do with the main games. can this change? Of course that can change but as it stands it's not part of the main canon.

Cry somewhere else tuff guy. I did that as a point to catch people's eye so they can stop spreading misinformation and look it worked since you're bitching about it now but tears and whining aside at least you learned something

I remember secret Emails (?) letters being sent to the MC of BLOPs. I think Alex was his name, hinting at certain people still being alive and certain people wanting him dead. In any case it was just a bunch of info hinting at a sequel set in the 70s. Seems like it'd be a missed opportunity to go to the future or

I agree. I saw nothing wrong with the Prototype 2 example. There are plenty of horror movies or invasion movies and comics and shows that have children getting killed implicitly or even explicitly so I don't see why games should hold punches. Yes it wouldn't be appropriate in something like Duke Nukem or whatever but

I chuckled. The real answer though is that war still results in tons of people dying for no good reason and just chaos all around. But in MGS4 Snake is talking about how and why wars are fought have changed.

It's Platnium games. They always do corny stuff. This is like the original Vanquish teasers that were also live action. It's also aping off of Robocop

THIS IS A SPIN OFF PEOPLE IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MGS SERIES. IT'S LIKE THE AC!D GAMES

I disagree. I thought the first episode was awfully paced and the 2nd,3rd, and 4th have improved. Still think the 3rd one was the best one though so far.

I've only got one reason...the game isn't boring.
