Who cares? This is honestly the direction PR should trend. The earned media they get off of this will more than pay for the car and get a lot of foot traffic into the dealership. Kid gets a car. Dealership sells more cars. Reporters get a feel-good story that gets lots of views. Everyone wins.

Its what you call a “win-win”. I think everyone recognizes the dual motivations.. Lets not forget the tax incentive as well. They could do 2-3 a year and come out ahead.

It’s definitely PR, but it’s one of those nice situations where PR also results in the right thing being done. This comes up in politics a lot where people complain about X politician only helping people to look good. The implied alternative is the more honest route is to... not help them? I’d rather a politician do

Regardless of their motivations, it’s nice to see they did the kid a solid.

Yeah, give the PR guy a raise. This was probably cheaper than buying a TV ad and I’m sure will sway a lot more buyers to shop at their dealership instead.

Let’s not kid ourselves that this isn’t (at least in large part) an opportunity for good PR for Frank Kent MC.

Still, motives aside, good on them for stepping in to help out.

Cut down in her prime...

It’s quite the blessing, isn’t it? She was literally flirting with Ryan Reynolds just a day ago. Smart and  funny as hell right until the very end.

2021 is determined to suck right up until the very end.

As sad as this is, I’m glad she never seemed to enter a period of prolonged and extreme decline like so many people her age do. She lived long and died quickly, and that’s basically the dream.

her agent and close friend Jeff Witjas tells PEOPLE in a statement on Friday. “I will miss her terribly and so will the animal world that she loved so much. I don’t think Betty ever feared passing because she always wanted to be with her most beloved husband Allen Ludden. She believed she would be with him again.”

It’s funny and also weird that we’re all having the same reaction to this. I truly can not imagine anything dumber than this feud, and I am totally here for it. Why? Is it the guilty pleasure of watching these two torpedo-headed slabs of brisket trade prissy notes over social media? Is it because the F&F franchise

I haven’t watched The Clone Wars, or even Rebels or The Bad Batch
There, I said it.

Extended Universe stories didn’t make Boba popular. They included him because he was already popular.

Hard disagree here. Speaking as someone who saw ROTJ in the theatres in 1983 as a 7 year-old, I can tell you that Boba Fett was a very popular character already. I 100% guarantee you that’s because he made a badass toy who killed the shit out of han Solo whenever my sister allowed me to play with them.

NGL was kind of hoping this would be a story on Tamuera Morrison’s career.

Just the shadow falls out? The Force does weird things sometimes.

I’m one of those people who never gave a crap about Boba Fett, and just rolled my eyes when I heard he was getting his own show. The way I saw it, the only thing he ever had going for him was a cool armor design, and now that we have a ton of other characters with that armor, what’s the point of him?

I am old enough to remember when Darth Vader and Boba Fett were bad guys.

I imagine the first cop was like, “OK, I’ll just stroll by, slap this fucker on, and move along without her noticing.” But eventually word got around the precinct and everybody decided they wanted to play The Wire, too...
