That’s lovely.

My stepgrandmother was a very religious woman...church every day, prayers before every meals, you get it. She also lived to a ripe old age and was well and “with it” all the way through. She only lived with her daughter towards the very end of her life and even then, it was more out of convenience than need.

I loved driving down that road! Rumor was if you were running at the battlefield near dusk the deer seemed ‘off’ and would follow you, and ppl supposedly saw soldiers, but as a frequent runner on those trails I didn’t see anything weird that wasn’t human and very much alive.

This may be my favorite comment in this thread.

I felt the same thing when I went to the Roman Colosseum. Tons of tourists taking pictures, laughing, hanging out, meanwhile I’m having a silent panic attack, freezing cold despite 90 degree weather, unable to take photos even though the only reason I was even in Italy was for a photography class. Too much torment

Oooh I know where you’re talking about.

Nonononono

I know other people who have seen Civil War soldiers in their backyards. My favorite restaurant downtown is supposedly haunted, too. I had a guy in a coffee shop tell me he was held down in bed by something in a house on Faquier Street. Everything is haunted here, basically.

My mother was killed and I went to see a psychic last year. I did that whole thing - didn’t tell her my last name, emailed from a random address, gave her no info. The first question the psychic asks me is “Is your mother still here?” Eventually, after we established that my mom died, she said to tell me she’d been

I just came back from living in Paris, and holy shit that city is just naturally haunting. Took my best friend to Pere Lachaise one day and made a joke about a statue being creepy, and almost instantly its face seemed to change and we both couldn’t shake the feeling like it was staring at us walk away

Thank you for sharing. Your story really touched me.  What a couragous person you are.

I understand now”

I enjoyed the original comment and this one. Lol.

Hey dude. I posted three consecutive times about the asshole ghost in my house. I’m only not posting this year because I have no more specific stories about it. And I stand by every word I typed.

These next stories are all about my step-daughter, who has lived in the house almost her entire life.

keep going!

The kitchen seems to be the centre of attention this past year. The most bizarre thing that I’ve seen in the house happened in the middle of a sunny July afternoon. I was working from home, at the kitchen table on my laptop when a purple mist appeared and came towards me. My wife was at the counter and said

Lmfao this should win
