Agreed. BE CAREFUL AND LOCK YOUR DAMN DOOR. I’m a little worried that you did lock it, though.

The one that scared me most was where the limp dick venture capitalists bought a group of websites, then started terminating their assets.

Firing writers (Splinter), suspending comments (Deadspin) and ultimately turning themselves into an embarrassing joke (G/O Media).

The story ended with Guillotines! Yikes!

Sexy Girl Scout in Hell sounds like an awesome Halloween costume.

There’s an infinitesimal chance she’s right, in which case it’d suck.. infinitely.

It’s unexpected, that’s for sure, I didn’t know what’s she’s gonna do, but no need to apologize for your fellow countrymen :) Thanks for the comment!

Well, fuck. Sorry you met one of our crazies on your first trip here.

I was visiting NYC from Poland a year ago. It’s my first time in the U.S. I was curious to see the Big Apple. My long-lost family lived somewhere in NJ, but I didn’t know anything about them. While I was certainly impressed by the city architecture, there was an experience that stuck with me more than anything. It was

I remember it but I don't remember the year. I didn't know it was admitted  fake!

Time to install a security camera and a new back door. Cause someone is watching you.

This might be a long shot, but does anyone remember the submission from a few years ago that was about a haunted wardrobe from hell? The writer and her friend would play in it as kids, and then years later, when she asked her mom about where it went, she goes “we never had a wardrobe, dear”?? I’m pretty sure writer

I was never a fan of ghost stories. I don’t go to haunted houses and I don’t watch scary movies. As a kid I was afraid of everything from fireworks to mountains to school buses to the moon. Simply put, I’m a fearful person, but as a writer and someone who is decently sensitive to and interested in people and their

I once hiked a Civil War park and unfortunately got lost. I ended up so dehydrated all I could do was crawl desperately looking for help and water. Eventually, a nice park ranger helped me, but I guess the rest of these assholes thought I was a ghost...

There was one from 2017 about someone who had flashbacks to her grandmother’s violent death (and she never knew her grandmother) whenever she heard a Patsy Cline song that I legitimately think about all the time.

Me every time someone liked my story:

THE SPOONS

Damn these were good. I didn’t know this was an annual tradition. Looks like I have some spooky stories to read all week. Esp liked the shadow man one, the hand one as lots of others have said, oh and the crawl space one wasn’t paranormal but turned out good. And the last one, the stalker one. That one is real shit.

If the only thing keeping something evil out appears to be a thin net or a piece of glass, consider yourself lucky and close the door. If an entity follows the vampire logic of being unable to enter without invitation, take advantage of it.

Was the picture associated to the Ouija board story submitted by the author? If so, you might want to remove their real name from the image credit as they changed their name in the story so it sounds like they don’t want to be found out.

All of the stories from commenters are cut off for me. I can't zoom out to see the whole stories, only the left half are visible. Am I being kinja'd here? Is it my phone? Is it ghosts?
