Am I the only one who’s noticed they’re not making parking spots any bigger?

Now let’s harken back to the days of playing 7Up in elementary school, remember that? Yeah, this guy is the kid who kept his head down, thumb in the air hoping Heather would actually gently push his thumb back into his palm, proving once and for all she loved him and they would get married right after high school.

TAS (Tremors Avoidance System)

part of it is just amazing to see how factory it looks for something done by hand. master fabricator indeed

My brother paid $13k to get one only ~3 years used back in 2004 (his is a 01). Its been totaled and he bought it back from and repaired it with a restored title, still owns and races it. The value your insurance thinks its worth is probably way less than $5750.

I know a guy that knows what it is. Would you believe it started life as a 1969 Corvette? A one-off custom build.

Holy hell this a straight-up crackpipe. If you want a “winter beater”, buy a $1k (ok, $1500?) Civic and get some snowtires for it. It’ll perform better than this, and probably be 15+ years newer, and be hundreds cheaper (to buy *and* to maintain). I can’t believe that “NP” is actually winning...

$3K is a bit much for a rusty car, no matter how interesting it might be. CP

THANK YOU!

There is no way of knowing how many miles it spent being flat towed over the last decade. The 1999 Trooper uses an electronic speedometer, so those miles would not be recorded on the odometer. Bearings and bushings can have significantly more mileage related wear than is suggested in the disclosed mileage.

roof racks have become car person’s “yeah well...” to the novelty truck world.

Today I starred my first Rude Negro post. Is it all downhill from here?

As wonderful as it would be to have another Saab, the truth is that you’re talking about a manufacturer that no longer exists, and that’s bad news for keeping it running in the long term.

I have rust on all of my undersides.

I’m beginning to wonder if the internet is worth it.

How much Skoal? The truck is partially submerged in the stuff.

its not super obvious from the video, but if ukraine your neck, you can see their western features.

It still belongs to my dad, he’s been gathering parts for a full restoration. He bought the car after it had crashed street-racing a GTO in the late 70's, and he and his dad restored it. When he was stationed in England, it followed him over there, where I was born.

I’m fortunate in that I know the exact whereabouts of the car I rode home from the hospital in, 37 years ago to this exact day.

it’s like circling everything in the sears catalog at christmas time, give them one or two things to knock off but still keep most of the good stuff
