When Daniel helped Issa move into her apartment last season, it seemed like the end of his storyline. That “Bye Daniel” from Molly was the period at the end of the sentence. I’m not surprised that he didn’t appear here. And I don’t get the feeling that Daniel really has those kinds of connections. When they went to

Andrew is a really patient person. I thought he handled the situation really well.

While I really enjoy seeing Tiffany and Kelli, I thought that this episode used them to show how they both grew from their disagreements last season and have learned how to communicate with each other. Perhaps that argument over the baby shower forced them to confront their own issues with each other. So they each had

I’m floored when I read people’s comments about this show. It’s unreal how much people project themselves onto the characters (i.e. the ridiculous defense of Martin Lawrence Walker from the Hive) and truly want to predict the success or failure of the show based on their personal opinions (usually the folks who want

Lawrence “laying down the law” with Issa was a simp move. He confronts Issa, but not Condola? Derek was right...he should have left it alone. I have a feeling that conversation is going to come back and bite him in the butt later.

I was a little disappointed that Tiffany wasn’t a Wannabe.

In the second half of S3, Issa was giving Molly some good advice that she didn’t want to hear. Actually, Issa has always had some gems for Molly when it comes to her relationships. Issa was the one that encouraged Molly not to hold Jared’s confession of some drunken head against him because he was a good guy who liked

That was definitely an overstep on Issa’s part. Issa has grown quite a bit, but girl cannot read a room. That whole scene was awkward once Molly arrived. I didn’t understand why Condola got up to hug Molly. Have they even met? I get why Issa and Condola have clicked...Condola is just a more professional, polished and

Maybe if folks in red states had thought about the loss of their beloved sports, they might have gotten their butts in gear and social distanced earlier.

“Loudly play gay”? Is having a boyfriend not enough? Insecure has often not given a lot of backstory to many of the side characters. Ahmal is not alone in that. I love his character and I’m glad he seems to be getting more screen time this season, but I’m not sure how much this “fixes” Molly’s homophobia towards

I assume that Tiff’s delivery is going to be played for comedy, so they’re teasing it out. If Kelli is involved, I’m sure it will be hilarious.

Love Issa’s brother Ahmal, but it was already established that he was gay in S3. Issa had a conversation with him where she asked if she could have his spare room after she went to stay with Daniel, and they showed his boyfriend. This is not new.

My dad’s side of the family is notorious for never using their real names. They passed around several names of folks from previous generations, and the kids got those names. Except, nobody liked them, so they all go by their nicknames or middle names. When folks start calling out their governments, it’s confusing AF.

I don’t fly in first for anything less than a 5/6 hour flight, but it is absolutely worth it. I’ve always used miles, but when I flew to Australia, there was no way in hell I was doing it in coach. That upgrade was worth every mile I had to give up to book it.

I really liked this movie. I admit, the backstory of Issa’s character’s mom was the selling point for me. That story was beautifully told and that part of the movie worked the best for me. I’ll admit...I found Lakeith’s swag in this movie to be a bit disconcerting, as it was quite different than how he’s presented in

Umm...have you seen A Fall From Grace? The hair alone qualifies it as instantly better than a Tyler Perry movie, not to mention the continuity, the scenery, cinematography, casting, extras, etc.

Girl, I went to see it in a movie theater all by my damn self and loved it!

I’ve done the same. It’s a good approach, I think. By not saying anything, other than expressing sympathy for his family, it’s the most charitable take I have.

Those extras were hoping that if they emoted enough, they too can be in a 5-day Tyler Perry production. Where they might get actual food and water.

Yes he has. He just does it with a script instead of a Jerome.
