Growing up, LEGO used to be about making stuff look KINDA sorta like what it should/could be, using that thing we once called the Imagination - now they just design a specially designed piece for whatever exact thing the designers at LEGO need, add a few notches to it…

From the documentaries I’ve watched and the bits and pieces I’ve read online, it seems like Twin Galaxies is constantly in over their head. I understand the difficulty of verifying these things... but it seems like there’s perpetual scandal/screw-ups/missing or doctored tapes. I guess things haven’t changed that much…

Value is very subjective. Saying that 20$ is a lot for a game is weird to me. Why wouldn’t mesure value by your enjoyment of a game instead ? Developers aren’t overreaching, they worked long and hard on their games.

The focus on fashion and youth culture vibes in Splatoon is kind of touching to me considering that in the past few years, so many of the major street fashion magazines like Zipper, FRUiTS, and KERA stopped printing.

Hes anything but a dick, hes always been very clearly, an emotional person who genuinely cares for his fans and family.

Ya, Abzu didn’t hook me the way Journey did.

As someone who stopped watching TV ~4-5 years ago because of the SUPER annoying ADs, I just realized this future with its ABUNDANCE of holographic street advertising would probably be a nightmare to me.

As much as I played that game, and it was a lot as a kid. I never once associated those levels with Halloween. Sure it was meant to be spooky. But for some reason I just never thought spooky instantly meant Halloween.

Nice investigative reporting here Nathan. Talking to people and doing some research. I enjoyed that you did it yourself. Too many an article nowadays on the internet are just reposts or aggregation.

Clearly the only real solution to situations like this is to dispense fully automatic weapons at street corner vending machines. Only then can we truly realize the NRA dream of enough good guys with enough firepower around to stop things like this from happening.
