54 semis recently delivered to PepsiCo. You haven't been following the fleet test results?

The deadhead miles argument is nuts. It’s actually just the opposite. My commute to work is 130 miles each way. I charge at home. I charge at work. I never have to stop at a gas station. I save a huge amount of time each year by never having stop.

You need to switch to EV2A if you’re with PGE which is 24 cents / kwh for all your household usage and ev charging off peak. You’ve been ripping yourself off big time.

You own an EV and never switched over to PG&E’s EV2A rate? I save an an extra $100 / month on my regular household electric usage by having this rate even if I didn’t charge my Tesla. It’s 24 cents off peak with no tier. You’ve paid way more than you needed to.

Which still makes it about the only option for long distance EV travel. I just drove to Phoenix from San Jose and it took the same 10 hours that it took me the last time in my Prius. Our bathroom stops and the one meal stop were more than enough for our Tesla to charge enough at each stop to make it all the way there

You made a generalization that isn’t true most of the time. Every two stalls share a single charging rack. If the first car on that rack is charging at maximum, it will reduce the charge rate of the second car that was there second, but only for a few minutes since the battery cannot handle the max rate for long due
