I thought politics!

In the book, it was only in the last chapter, when the narrative (starting 2mo before the death) caught up to the event.

The medal was a Victoria's Cross which as far as my non-military understanding goes is the highest award given for bravery. I believe they are quite rare.

Seriously- it's an exploration of trauma. This season was incredible for that. For a hot second it actually made me feel sorry for the killer

Yep I had the same thought about Chandra being the next mule. But I don't think there's enough time left in the series to go down that path thank god.

Yea this is a common argument for Claire to frame it to Jamie in a way that means more to him. But remember these people have not watched Back to the Future! As far as Claire knows she's stuck there forever, she just wants to know that Frank will live on in the future as he is kind and decent and innocent in all this

She's so natural- I adore her! I so rarely feel like a character could truly be "the girl next door" ie. anyone but Alison Wright does it. I've loved watching her and I hope we get a continued story with incredible Martha.

Damn, spoilers?! Please don't tell me that adorable Fergus who we've only just met for the first time tonight dies!

He was a virgin not a monk!

Charles won highlight of the episode with his outrage over the Swedish cereal. There is no way on this earth I could have sat in front of him straight faced at that delivery.

Waaaaatch itttt!!!!!

Yeah I think it's just that he's got a bit of a theatre accent if you know what I mean (eg Cate Blanchett)- he does do the classic Aussie "going up at the end of a sentence" in one of his lines which I thought was hilarious.

James Frencheville is actually Australian! Have you seen Animal Kingdom?

But wouldn't they have flashed out of existence when they first erased Peter from existence?
