There are a lot of good remixes out there, not just on OCRemix. Heck one of the more “recent” ones I’ve ran into mixes Chemical Plant, and the other song which others may say is the best, Ice Cap Zone (I disagree, but hey, each to their own).

I seriously think Chemical Plant Zone’s theme is the best song from the series. I shed tears when I heard the generations modern remix the first time.

Ehh... Considering the playstation lacked a z-buffer, chances are it wouldn’t handle n64 games very well. Apparently the N64 could draw a texture across multiple polygons, where the PS1 was a one texture per polygon system. There’s also other technical differences that makes the PS1 running N64 games 1:1.

Just checked, it’s not down. Also, Nintendo doesn’t tend to go after romhacks. They tend to go after fan games. Romhacks generally don’t contain any of their code, as they are patches that get applied to stock roms. So there isn’t any legal reason to go after romhacks since they don’t contain copyrighted material.
