That Villasenor bit on Update was fucking hilarious and I have no idea why the audience was so dead on that. She needs to be given more sketches where she can just be weird as hell.

The opening political skits are just killing the show. They’re too long, not very funny and because they feature all guest stars, don’t even feel like the same show. Yeah, I wasn’t super comfortable watching the sketch — especially how long it went on — but Adele totally breaking at “you can feel it in your stomach” was hilarious...

A randomly silly SNL is refreshing. Not everything needs to MEAN something. Since next week is the Halloween episode and Mulaney is hosting, that we get an even heavier dose of silliness.

Honestly, if they weren’t leading off the show each week with eleven utterly dire minutes this would be a great run of episodes.
