If, in a crass world, you were to compare video games to sex, then COH would be great sex, while Homeworld would be "some of the best sex you'll ever have."

Although I agree, I feel that EQ2 suffered, because of the original, even though that suffering is unwarranted. EQ2 had a great crafting system and a lot of amazing tools for Roleplayers that is rarely imitated today. To be able to set character moods and even use your webcam to replicate your facial expressions and…
I know I'll get crucified for this, but I don't mind the always-online part (assuming the game works), especially if it gets rid of hackers. It didn't bug me with Diablo 3, for instance.
ahh...they went to the penthouse playboy university of journalism I see.
I believe we're actually on the same page, but I think we also have to differentiate between recognition of negative stimuli and processing that stimuli with pain.
Not sure if Totalbiscuit reads this or cares, but I've suffered from some of the same symptoms and have been putting off going to the Dr. (Sounds familiar right?) and right after I watched that video, I went and got a recommendation for a Dr. then scheduled an appointment to go in and have a physical as well as go…
Thanks! He's been doing fine even though he worried the lot of us saying he wouldn't go through with the surgery. It got done and he's great now. Mum's doing fine too, just some regular check ups to get through :)
Yeah I really hope so too, I've shared it around my small social media circle and I hope at least one…
Thank you for sharing this. I'm glad to hear that everything with your grandfather is ok! I hope that videos like TotalBiscuit's help more people (particular the young audience that I'm guessing is drawn to this kind of thing) overcome some of the residual shame about health problems and the need for legitimate…
I went through this with both my mum and granddad recently. My granddad in particular was super lucky. He was as fit as a fiddle, no signs of anything, it's only because my grandma forced the doctor to test him "just in case" that we found out he had prostate cancer. For that experience alone I will always check stuff…
I wish the internet had more people like this. People who understand that their opinions about someone are not the only thing that matters. I was worried I'd come here and read a whole lot of shit throwing just because some people don't enjoy TB as a commentator.
Stuff like this is really something we need to get over feeling embarrassed over. If you have a health problem, then see a doctor and get it checked out asap, no reasonable person will think less of you if everything's not behaving as normally, regardless of whether your colon's involved or not.
I may never have liked the guy, but damn if this isn't a good thing for him to be doing. Kudos for bringing the situation to attention and telling people to seek medical advice if they're worried. Not enough people do and I'm seeing someone I know die before my eyes of bowel cancer because he put it off for so long.
For…
When I was going through embarrassing cancer (left ball), I found social media, hugely, *hugely* encouraging. I pretty much put it all out there like John is here, and the support I got from friends family and strangers absolutely gave me the will to slog on.
Listened to this this morning. Takes a tremendous amount of bravery to come out and talk and open up as bluntly as he did. I would expect no less from in regards to his video game news but for something that personal, man... /hat tip
Let's note that it's not the woman in front, but the one standing in the right corner of the bottom pic. I think she looks great. Hopefully they do a decent job with the writing.
It's unfortunate how some people take a moment like this to attack him -for- apologizing.
