I don’t think anyone running a successful Senatorial campaign is dumb enough to like him; they use him (or try to avoid being in his path). What is funny is, they had every chance to shut him down if they could just stop being self interested for a couple weeks of coordinated communications and marketing.

I’d be slightly more impressed my Senators have enough sense to recognize Trump is unfit if they hadn’t proudly supported him for years. Braun actually just ran in 2018 as a proud member of TeamTrump.

99-100% of Republican Senators elected prior to 2018 hate Trump, even if they won’t admit it. Even Ted Cruz and Lindsey Graham.

What difference does any of this make if no one DOES anything about it? In this day and age, public condemnation is as effective as “thoughts and prayers”, so private condemnations are even more useless.
 

It’s about the Georgia Senate seats. They need Trump’s base to win those two elections. A major breach between the establishment and MAGA World would probably result in a lot of GOP voters staying home in disgust.

Fuck them all. They don’t get credit for being weak about it. They want the history books to treat them well because they didn't agree. Double fuck them. 

Be aware that there was something called “The Nero Decree” at the end of World War II. I don’t think Trump is going to physically destroy infrastructure, but I definitely think he’s going to try to drag as many people down with him as he can.
