This reprehensible serial killer was given more consideration than the many black men and women police slaughter on the streets everyday. The police just killed a man in front of his children. He was trying to help stop a fight.

Way to take the thread into a unrelated self-involved direction, Sparky. Thanks for bringing it to my attention: This narcissistic selfish old white man who has no remorse as a born and convicted liar, cheat and career criminal—who treats women in a despicable way while living a double life for years does remind me…
Surprised he didn’t go with, “sorry to anyone who might have been hurt by my actions.” That’s the standard sorry-not-sorry.
Yeah, the old wheelchair comes out again. Last resort of the scoundrel. Once the case is over, they all experience miracle cures and walk again. Praise Jesus!
Californians, can we put some proposition in this election that says we won’t provide medical care for this old ass mother f’er? I’m not having my tax dollars saving this bastard’s life or helping him when he’s sick. Let him suffer and let him die. It’s his karma.
SERIOUSLY. He was a COP while he was committing his crimes, too. He even worked on the burglary unit or something for a while in his early career. While he was burgling homes and raping people. He knew it was wrong, he knew how the process worked, he knew how to get away without being caught. He didn’t care at all…
And if you watch the video of their first meeting earlier this year, you can hear Biden ask for his phone number so can call and check on him... and Biden notes that he does the same for about 25 other stutterers.
He is not at all in poor health. That feeble-looking piece of scum in the wheelchair was all an act. The DA released footage of him in his cell, and he’s moving about quite spryly.
It is fucked up on both a symbolic and a practical level.
I’m not quite sure why you think that is so fucked up. He has been sentenced to 25 or 26 consecutive life sentences for murder; if he got an additional 500 years for the 50+ rapes, would that make any real difference to anyone, even the rape victims?
Yeah I’m pretty sure if you felt any remorse you would’ve turned yourself in during the 30 years following your last (of many) rapes/murders. Those 30 years should’ve been spent rotting in jail. Not out enjoying life and deceiving your three daughters who weren’t very different from your multiple victims.
This kids is my hero. I stuttered just like him and the kids, especially the older ones, were brutal. He’ll grow out of it with age and speech therapy like I did, it’s tough and takes work, but he seems very much up for the challenge.
yeah that’d what you’d say if you were in trouble for like, stealing a car. Not a literal REIGN OF TERROR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When he sleeps at night, he needs to rest a stack of plates on his back, and if they rattle, his gets shot straight in the air with an ejector button.
Does the punishment fit the crime? Probably not. He’s 74 and appears to be experiencing some degree of poor health. He will quietly disintegrate in prison.
If I understand correctly, due to the statute of limitations, while he’ll serve a life sentence (multiple life sentences?) for the 13 murders, he won’t serve one second of jail time for the 50-plus rapes he’s admitted to. That is fucked up.
Wow this hit me hard last night. So brave, sincere and powerful. When his voice first caught, all the way to the end, the tears did flow. Damn inspirational. Afterwards was glad Biden’s speech had kindness and hope in it, I needed this wonderful kid and Uncle Joe to bring warmth and optimism to these dismal times.
It’s almost surreal hearing a man who raped 50+ and murdered 15 to say “Yeah, sorry about that, you guys.” Thanks for that penny in the well.
“I’ve listened to all your statements, each one of them,” he said. “And I’m truly sorry to everyone I’ve hurt.”
I don’t support the death sentence but - and maybe this makes me a bad person, I don’t know - I wish him pain every day of his life, and I wish him a painful, miserable death. I hope he feels constant terror and fear, misery and defeat.
