I’m sure Katie has already started laying the groundwork for protecting against this. If I were Katie, this would be my absolute biggest fear. I can just imagine teenage Suri yelling “fine, I’ll just go live with dad in that cult compound then!” to get a reaction. *shudder*

Luke Bryan has an opinion on the “Lady A” kerfuffle. [Us Weekly]

Was Harry able to retain the manservant that cleans the sand from ass crack and balls or is he forced to do this for himself now?

Santa Barbara is a lovely coastal town filled with wealthy people in ostentatious designer clothes

So ... Joe Biden got the most votes. That’s what happened.

Mmmmmm, what about in a fit of teenage rebellion mixed in with romanticizing an absent parent?

For the zillionith time, Stacey Abrams, brilliant perhaps, was utterly unqualified. Harris was/is easily as ambitious as Abrams. There was no mistaking Harris’s desire of the position. But Abrams lost her race for governor & served in the state legislature. Which meets maybe 40 times a year. No, just no. Karen Bass

Leah has a point, and I wouldn't be surprised if Tom thinks he can easily persuade his kid (who he hasn't seen in how many years?) to ditch the only parent she's ever bonded with and join Daddy's cult.

I don’t understand your take. We had a primary that didn’t have Biden as an overwhelming winner until South Carolina. Media coverage absolutely influences future voters: people respond to simple messaging. I don’t mean the outcome would have necessarily changed, but I do mean that the support may not actually have

Dang, the writers on this site are just as illiterate about how real world things work, as the buffoon in the White House (& his VP).

LOL. Look, you’re a good writer in the sense that you have as sophisticated vocabulary and can string together words in a pleasant way.

Harris will not be an ordinary VP. Biden is tired and senile and everyone knows he won’t be fit enough to run for a 2nd term. I fully expect Biden to resign not long after the 2022 midterms, so Harris will get some time as the official President, after having performed the role unofficially while Joe napped and drooled

Karen Bass? She was the “anti-Kamala,” pitting two Black women in opposition to one another.

Left unspoken are the precise reasons why we’re talking about a woman as vice president instead of, well, as president.

Except “the people" overwhelmingly voted for Biden. Their will was done. VP candidates are very often failed Presidential candidates— Biden was one himself in ‘08. This is an odd take.

Process wasn’t messy AT ALL. It’s always cut throat. And oppo research is always in politics.

This is about as positive as you guys are going to get, isn’t it? PUMAs, Class of 2020.

IMO the more interesting discussion of power balances concerns the power of party insiders vs. the power of ordinary voters. Harris is a presidential candidate who couldn’t get any traction with voters despite major media hype, but party insiders were determined to elevate her, and so they did. The will of the people
