No, this isn’t the best way to see America.
Came here for that.
You did an acceleration run in a turbo vehicle and didn’t spool-up the turbos? And the point was what?
Loved my 2001 Dodge Dakota with the 4.7 V8. Hauled 2 track bikes and a 16 foot travel trailer and still got 14 MPG. Unfortunately it only got 18 empty. Still, it was smaller than a full size truck and larger than a Nissan or Toyota.
So line up a dozen used cars that sell for $5,500 and see who picks the Yugo - nobody. CP all the way.
Little known fact:
Back then I had a customer in my shop with a LeCar. She went to Europe and when she returned she brought back a TURBO insignia and asked me to put it on her car. She didn’t know what a turbo was but all the LeCars in France had them.
But not all things are practical.
Kind of related.
I own an FZ-09 and ridden an older crossplane R1. I would expect the FZ-10 is going to be super torquey but no where as light and flickable as the FZ/XSR. Nod goes to the XSR to be the better real world street bike.
In the 70s my sister was riding in the cab of one of those old Dodge van/trucks with the motor between the seats. They had 4 people stuffed in the cab and at least 6 in the bed. Guys in the back thought it would be funny if they rocked the truck side to side at speed. Wasn’t so funny when the truck rolled and one of…
In the 60s our family our family of 8 traveled on vacations in a Pontiac wagon with a “double decker” plywood platform in the back for us to lay down on. If we had rear-ended another car I’m sure any of the kids on top would have slid off and into the back of the passenger’s heads.
At least the Euro is nearly even to the dollar...
I was a mechanic in the 70s when a customer brought in his 1969 Corolla wagon with the oil light on at idle. It had near zero oil pressure at idle and about 10 at 2000+. He didn’t want to put a motor in it so he sold it to me cheap. I figured I’d drive it till it blew and replace the 1200cc slant 4. I ended up driving…
Prefer the green, prefer the stock wheels and didn’t notice the bumper before you pointed it out. It has almost 20k more miles but for 7K less it’s closer to NP for me.
I’m sure you could visit Majdanek and after personally viewing a gas chamber, find another reason to ignore historical facts.
...like the crack heads that just busted into your house in the middle of the night...
So it isn’t clear how the Superchargers will be arranged but if they share space with a gas/diesel pump, the lane will be blocked from “profit” customers way too long.
So you’re leary of JD Power because they promoted Kia to the top of the list but not concerned that Porsche was the previous best? What?
