My guess of who greets Olivia next week is: Hollis, Sally, Maya or (god forbid) Rowan.
What holds NO suspense for me is the false sense of….well….Olivia won't be killed. So the characters going nuts to "save Liv" rings false and stupid.

Lizzie is probably picking cotton somewhere after the beating she took from Huck…

A ten week hiatus for the viewer…and one hour later, Olivia is still trapped. No resolution and no movement. Scandal chases it's tail every season.

Let's reverse the logic. Had Fitz or Jake said, "I'm not choosing you or some other girl…..I'm going to have both…" How would that go over for women watching this show? Hmmmm…..

Yes! The drama with: Fitz' decision to finally file for divorce, Mellie's resistance to a divorce, the political fallout, Karen's reaction, the Scandal voting public's reaction. And Sweettweeny is right. Fitz and Olivia would not get married right away. They would first have to let the crap storm die down. They may

Since season 2B when the season ends with Olivia screaming at Fitz to "earn me!", Fitz then does choose Olivia, she turns around and says, "I can't leave them….I'm their gladiator….they need me." My first thought after that cop-out ending was for Fitz to tell Olivia to kick rocks.

I hope I'm not the only one concerned about Cyrus and Michael. In the BMAM episode, that senator was on tape in diapers, and Cyrus couldn't laugh hard enough. I'm thinking Michael probably put him in a super compromising position and is just waiting to release a secretly recorded sex tape to the world. Time will tell…

I thought the same thing. It was a Papa Pope rant in cadence style.

One: This is supposed to be, according to Shonda Rhimes, "The season of Abby". Where is it? I only see Jake burning up screen time. Two: The episode was good in that we saw some character development of Karen. But…the situation with Fitz and Olivia is stagnant. After three plus seasons, we all get that these two want

In season 2, the Grant administration passed the Dream Act…

I thought he was also poisoned in that scene…

Agreed.
A divorce, or at least a real clearing of the air is long overdue for the Grants. My hope is that Mellie takes that real DNA test and sits down with Fitz and shares everything. Then they can decide where to go from here.

Yes, Shonda and the writers are terrible at continuity. Mellie was a partner in a law firm in flashbacks in season 3, but never used her law degree when she was threatening to out Olivia at the end of season 2.

Mellie left her job by choice. She wants independence? She could have left him and found a fellow law firm employee to marry. But in the end, Mellie fights to be the pretty little wife. I have zero sympathy for her.

In season two, the Grant administration passed the Dream Act. The author of this article needs to know Scandal history.
Also, to hell with double standards. Women on Facebook and Twitter are cheering Mellie slapping Fitz for breaking up her affair.
What if the tables have been reversed? Fitz didn't hit Mellie after

Other than Mellie being found out by everyone that she's having an affair, nothing else happened in this episode.
And after what Karen saw, there must be some Grant kids follow up, but I doubt the writers have that long….of short term memory.
Yes, this episode sucked. Mellie should have FOUND time to tell Fitz about

The writer of this article obviously doesn't watch the show. Abbey can't be widowed by David's possible murder. She's not married to him, or anyone else! Sheesh….
