I think John C. Reilly's move to primarily comedy is one of the biggest blows to non-comedy acting in the last twenty years. I truly think he could become a monumental figure in "serious" films if he made a go at it again. On the level of Philip Seymour Hoffman or Dustin Hoffman or DDL.
