Recently moved to a house with a gas range. First time I’ve ever cooked with gas in my life. And yes, I fell in love. I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to go back to electric after this...and I certainly hope I never have to.

While I’m all for reasonable and sensible regulations, an outright ban on gas-stoves seems a bit

Great list. I’m particularly a fan of imperial stouts. Belgian tripels are good (or quads!) and I also have really enjoyed discovering barleywines this past year. Also had a wee heavy for the first time - quite tasty as well!!

I was about to complain about a few of the inclusions on this list...but then I got down to #9 and realised you included “Shop Around the Corner”. All is forgiven. That’s one of my favourite movies of all time, and truly a classic holiday movie.

Can confirm Florida is definitely on the cheaper end.  Got our turkey for 49 cents/lb, which we definitely are ok with.

I’m all for buying certain things that would take me far more effort and time to make. But...there are some times where the time and effort is worth it. My homemade stuffing/dressing is divine and I crave it throughout the year and I definitely don’t begrudge the hour or two it takes to make it.

Legitimate question.  I haven’t had Papa John’s in ages (if I’m in a trashy pizza mood, I do Pizza Hut haha), but I remember back when I was in high school, all my friends loved Papa John’s - it was considered the “good pizza”.  I didn’t enjoy it as much as they did, but most people agreed that it was quality pizza

I moved to Texas a few years back and definitely don’t get the love for Whataburger. They’re...fine. Not great. The patty melt is pretty solid (and my go-to if I’m eating there, which I don’t often!).

I don’t understand any of this, but I also haven’t eaten at McDonalds in a while (I do crave it now and again, trust me!) and I don’t have or care for collectible things.  So...this kind of thing baffles me.  I suppose there are those who are into it though...takes all kinds I guess?

Peri-peri sauce is great. It made me so happy when my grocery store started carrying Nando’s sauce. It goes great with my chicken/spinach/cheese wraps that I often make for lunch. I get the medium version, and this is the one time when the medium version of something actually packs a modicum of punch!

Did not know ‘happiness’ was underrated. I remember the first time I heard it, listening to her new album on my headphones as I sat on my local coffeeshop porch under the overhang, rain pouring down and getting me slightly wet. And as I let ‘happiness’ unfurl, I stopped doing anything else but soak it in. It hit hard

That $28 is kinda ridiculous. For two people, MAYBE. For one? That’s eating for two days!

Not sure I’ll say it’s a great show, but it’s definitely better than any Star Wars media I’ve seen in quite some time. And I’m certainly enjoying it far more than Rings of Power! I’m genuinely excited to watch each new episode and really luxuriating in the slow build, well-crafted character building and engaging

Not every day, no!  But working from home does have its benefits, one of them being it’s pretty easy to chop a bunch of stuff up and throw it in a pot and let it cook for a while.  Truly one of the things I love most about working from home...

I very much understand this is a ranking of canned chili and so I shouldn’t be saying this here but...unless in emergency need-food situation, please just make your own chili? You can make a half-decent chili in 2-3 hours (most of that being hands-off time). Yes, more expensive and time-consuming but canned chili just

Yeah, that’s kinda what I figured.  Whenever I order from my local taco shop and am ordering 50 tacos (for work!!), I always let him know up front, “Hey I’m going to be ordering quite a few here.”  It’s helpful just to set expectations, right?

With olives on top!?

I haven’t played Madden in a while (a long while haha), but when I did, only really played it for the Franchise mode. always loved making my chosen team (Washington - they’ve been bad for so long...) into a perennial Super Bowl contender. 2002 was first version I played and I remember it being good. 2005 though - that

Jim’s is where it’s at.  Craving one now

I can testify that I’m one of the pandemic converts. Working from home, needing lunch and there’s a Jersey Mikes right down the road. Was surprised how good they were - #13, Mike’s way - simply beautiful. I have never had the cherry pepper relish though so apparently need to try that as well!

I have never understood the aversion to cheese with apple pie. And that comes from someone who has never tried it myself! Growing up (parents Midwesterners), we always had apple pie either by itself or with ice cream. My dad makes a killer apple pie!
