I hope so badly that this game lets you generate your own allies and stuff. I’ll finally get the rebellion game I’ve been wanting for YEARS.

The rebels basically. New twist on the game mechanics.

The plasma guns? They were okay for Noob combos, but all must lay down for smiting in front of the might handgun.

The Flood plot twist, and the massive Flood-Covenant-MC battles that followed, were part of what made the original Halo so great. That and relatively stellar weapons, with the weakest two guns being unable to reload, placing them thoroughly as last resort weapons while all the other weapons had their place.

It’s been a while since I played it, but I distinctly remember trying to manage the missions, items, upgrade paths, and all the little “this unlocks that” and being thoroughly bored by it. Get 10 of this item, fill out the thing, take a new quest. It seemed extremely dry and check-the-box-y, artficially padded.

Yes... what I experience is not what I’m experiencing...

Monster Hunter games always seem like I’m playing a spreadsheet.

No, not in the same way Quake did.

Quake’s 3d engine featuring polygonal texture wrapping, developing and setting the standard for almost every single 3d game on the market. Code written for the original Quake can still be found in the source code for DOTA and Wolfenstein New Order. Quake’s impact is monumental.

The Ride Never Ends

That’s definitely an issue, though I think the rise of standardized game engines like Unity will help solve that problem over time.

Quake changed 3D games, all of them, completely.

While I’m sure this isn’t what he wanted, and I don’t think the publisher should be doing this without the developers consent if the developer isn’t defunct, I do think he’s misinterpreting it.

I’ve often viewed the random flash sale as a way to potentially reineject life into a title, to get people playing it again.

That’s also how to properly hand-coil line.
