Boy, I still find it confusing when they use the gentleman's surname for the visiting valet. It may work for the home servants' convenience, but it makes us 21st century viewers of many-charactered stories awfully bebothered. The show will turn (probably in the 4th season or late in the 3rd) when it is CLAIRE who turns and speaks to the camera. Heck, that would be a helluva series final scene.

Watching this late, as a prelude to Season 3, I've also recently watched Season 2 of Broadchurch. The Senate minority-in-handcuffs scene, along with most of the Hill scenes involving parliamentary process, reminds me mightily of the courtroom scenes in Broadchurch. Ridiculous, dramatic, and hilarious.

I'm astounded at Mackenzie Davis in the promos - she's a doppelganger to Mary Stuart Masterson in the '80s flick, Some Kind of Wonderful. Look it up.
