I’ll flip the script and tell you about two of my favorite DMV Experiences because a) they’re so outlandish and b) they both took place at the Oakland Colosseum DMV. Whem my oldest son was ready to get his license, I drove him down to the DMV testing facility. We pulled up to a nondescript gray cinderblock building with following instructions in foot high block letters painted on the side facing the parking lot:

Trying to register a car with a damaged title has been the worst ongoing DMV experience I’ve had for about two years now.

It’s just anything else in life. Two same brand stores, or two DMVs, located near each.  One has great service, the other doesn’t.  One is always crowded, the other isn’t.  One is rundown, the other isn’t.  

Very diff here in KS, at least in my county. You sign up online for a time, you show up a few mins early to check in and be assigned a number. Ass in a seat for no more than 5-10 mins, bada boom they call your number, and you stroll over to an eye-candy lady across the glass asking for things their website made very…

I tagged along when my cousin went to apply for a driving license. At the end, the DMV employee that took him for the driving portion started selling us on how we should switch our natural gas delivery/supplier. No, a blue riband event is a very important event at which an honor is given to the winner, sometimes in the form of a blue ribbon. It is a term which derives from horse racing, and was used for time for fast sea-faring vessels. 

Monaco produces one of the best quali. I get it, the race tends to be pretty tedious, but man, I fucking love Monaco quali, even with today’s cars. Maybe they should run qualin in Monaco for the next race and ditch the rest.

Monoco is great in person, because nowhere else can you get so close to the action. On TV, it totally sucks. They’d be better off turning it into a time trial, with only one car on the track at a time. Fastest 5 lap average wins.

I know I am not in the majority here and that many people here will want to throw stones at me, but maybe all F1 grand prix should be moved to the trash?

I’m sure we can find a much better use for all that money, cars, people and etc.
