Not sure if you’re talking about something different, but I have Munchkin Deluxe and it’s literally just Munchkin, but with a board that keeps track of points and a larger box (convenient for expansions). No difference in mechanics.

Okay so - as someone who has loved Bethesda games for a long time, I feel like it’s at the point where this game has gone beyond just an ambitious new direction that was probably an excusable misstep and might now be the kind of thing that damages the brand? Like... the people who cared enough about Bethesda to drop

The continued support is truly awesome. Every time these come out, though, I play for a bit, have a great time, and then spend an hour just collecting resources and then put the game down again... I think maybe it’s just not my thing - which is fine! I’m happy for the people still enjoying it.

I really loved these games but if I had to pick a nit, it would be that the ‘mons that seemed the coolest or most useful took a BRUTAL amount of time or luck to find (<5% appearance rates, etc.).
