I don’t want to make excuses for university administrators, but what were they supposed to do, when she kept telling them, “I’m Fine”?
What divisiveness? The one that standing up against police brutality? The one asking for people to be treated equally?
Distraction? Divisive? Dude won the Len Eshmont award voted on by his teammates last year. He wasn’t even divisive on a terrible team.
You’re right. England does not want to give America its independence. And no amount of pissing and moaning is going to change that.
I agree. Being asked Questions about kaepernick would distract players from being asked about Odell Beckham jr. Or whatever that the NFL controversy of the moment is.
They’re your points. So we agree. You certainly summed it up better then me though. Just another reminder of the beauty in simplicity.
If I have to warrant a guess, so folks can clean themselves in various forms. My pops is in the paper industry and said this isn’t uncommon. Like are there washing machines to wash cloth rags and towels at those shelter sites? It doubles as toilet paper in a pinch as well if suppose.
“I ate a pack of ramen noodles and that’s all for like a day-and-a-half.”
Yeah, but doesn’t the fact that they managed to avoid the draft just like every other American, military or otherwise, since 1973 really stick in your craw?
Everyone knows that Republicans are predisposed to having bone spurs and weak ankles... it’s from the inbreeding.
If only these kids would have given up on higher education, and a potential lucrative professional sports career, in order to fight in the (super meaningful and definitely in the U.S.’s interest, and absolutely not a problem of our fathers causing) middle east wars... THEN they would be respectable.
I honestly believe reinstating the draft is about the only thing that would lead to mass dissent/rioting across the entire country.
Don’t you know? Only Democrats dodged the draft. Republicans avoided it by being rich which is totally acceptable.
I’m a veteran and I’m still trying to figure out why a protest over police brutality has anything to do with me. Yeah, it’s great when people respect the symbols of our country, but I’m not gonna get all riled up over a protest that has specific target.
I will NEVER attend a sporting event where the draft dodging millionaire athletes disrespect the veterans who earned them the right to be on that field.
Yeah dude, these goddamn kids need to have respect for the troops and conscription like our Commander in Chief.
I’m not a big NFL fan or anything, but IMHO, anyone who is old enough to have dodged the draft and can still be competitive at professional sports deserves at least some kind of respect.
There is no “Draft” to dodge. Except the NFL Draft. And these fools got drafted by the Browns. The BROWNS. It’s like the Afghanistan of NFL teams.
