Meh...If I want to buy a toaster, I’ll read CR. Not influenced in any way by their weird rating systems and heresey from surveys from morons about cars.
1st gear:
Damn...I forgot how the interior on these looks like it was made from chewing gum.
Soooooo close, but no cigar. Come on Chrysler, you were almost there back in the day when you proposed a SRT Minivan! If anyone would do it, it would be you. Just go for it.
True. But I wouldn’t expect it to try. It would be awkward looking with scoops and wings and what not. ;)
hardeeharhar. Nice grandpa joke.
I’ll admit I liked these. Mother-in-law had one for years. It was extremely reliable and held up well. When she traded it in on an Edge I was disappointed I didn’t buy it from her for a work vehicle.
I dunno about that blandest sedan designation. I mean in just recent history in the U.S. market alone there’s the Maurauder (albeit a Mercury), there’s the SVT Contour, the various encarnations past and present of the Taurus SHO, and of course the 325hp TT V6 AWD Fusion Sport. I’d say of any car maker, they are making…
COTD!
Each tv network affiliate is garunteed a certain amount of local ad sales that are run during the game in their city. This dude’s car lot ads generate revunue for that affiliate station and are local only, not national. No revenue is given back to the NFL as a result of this dude buying air time in his market.
That voice over guy did EVERY car commercial back then. I think he’s the Datsun Black Gold VO dude and even Big Bill Hell’s Car Sales VO dude.
Few realize, just before it’s demise, Oldsmobile had planned on rolling out their own high performance sub-brand. Think SVT or M series... It was called OSV, or Oldsmobile Special Vehicles line. I remember seeing them in person. Good looking cars. Even the Silhouette mini van got the SV treatment.
There once was a blog about finding a single shoe on the road, people could upload a photo and post where they saw them. Thephotos got pretty creative!
COTD right here. 😂
I’m a professional videographer/editor. Mostly I make commercial content for corporations and shoot some stuff for tv too, but as of now, my clients haven’t cared about 4K one bit. They are perfectly content with HD.
What’s interesting is Apple helped develop Blu-Ray, but as it came to market abandoned the technology, they ascertained that downloading would be king, and decided it wasn’t worth their dolllars to invest further into Blu-Ray at the time. Turns out...They were right.
Geez...hate when you guys talk about 2007 being a long time ago. Makes me feel old. Hell, I have had a 2004 Jeep Liberty Renegade since 2004...and it’s one of my newer cars. haha. Which incidentally, would have fallen to last place before the first turn.
I have a Jeep Liberty with the boat anchor 3.7 liter 6 banger....and mine even has a 5 speed manual! It’s not fast, but I think it makes 215hp. Not too shabby for 2004. Damn thing won’t quit either....easily the toughest son of bitch I’ve ever owned.
I think that is 100% it.
