I love a wagon, but thar era Camry wagon was an abomination
One of the trade-offs you forgot to mention was:
OOoooo....I like rear end, I like the profile....oh wait?!! What’s this?! Ewww...butterface.
The only thing that could make me interested in electric car racing is if they are production cars. I don’t care about Formula E at all. I can always get with any type of production car. However, I’d be more interested if they were homologated electric cars and not of just one make/model. I want to see factory works…
I love a 240sx, always have (even before they were cool...so it pains me to say, Caraaaack PIPE!
I got my worn out 13,000 mile $70 craigslist special Sachs Madass 125cc up to 53mph so far with my fat ass on it. It was butt puckeringly scary. Mostly because it’s a big piece of shit held together with zip ties and prayers.
I don’t quite share your sentiments about Kia, I’m impressed with their recent efforts, but they still have a ways to go.
....till it breaks. ☹️
Ask the Pontiac G8 GT how it feels to be a sales failure.
I love the “catfish” Camaro. It’s underrated. It was a far more modern and superior car to the mustang at the time. I miss understated good looks. These cars look positively badass lowered with nice wide wheels and tires on all 4 corners.
Looks fine as a handbag...looks terrible as a car. OP was right.
Smells like a 40 year old Motel 6 inside tho.
Tint your windows. I have a black leather interior with tinted windows and I live on the surface of the sun (Florida). No probs.
The Camry. If I’m on a motorcycle I avoid them as if they are carriers of Ebola. This “vehicle” and the people that operate them (you don’t drive appliances) are the definitive non-car person car. They are the vehicles owned by people who aren’t even sure what year car they have. Also, I can’t stand the Camry because…
True story...I work at a big market NBC affiliate and when Conan was doing his media tour to promote his debut on The Tonite Show he came to our station. We ended up having lunch with him and his crew, and I ended up sitting next to him.
The worst of this is people that sell their perfectly running car for parts!
+1 for this. I’ve had an SVT Focus since 2002. It’s been absolutely bulletproof and I’ve never been too easy on it. $3500 is the least you should spend on an SVTF though, the ones for less have gone through numerous teen drivers who’ve all had their chance at “modifying” them. Find a low owner, cared for SVTF and it…
...or bogging down an already pretty anemic engine
