Doing some internet sleuthing and came across this from the same area. Not directly related...but interesting nonetheless.

Are you a boss? You sound like you might be.
Yup! Nail on the head.
OR.....he’s a conceited royal asshole who doesn’t value dedicated people.
You can pick up a slightly used Focus ST for less than 20k. It checks the boxes. Its a front driver (unfortunately), and it’s a hatchback (so almost a wagon). They’ve been around since 2013 and have proven pretty tough. Best of all, it’s not another Civic (sort of unique). So it has that going for it. I have one, love…
Given the fact that Mary worked for Elon for a very long time, one could argue (as I’m sure she did) that one key reason for his past success which lead to his then current wealth is from the contributions she helped to make in the company as his assistant.
1000x this.
I didn’t think we were arguing at all. I just thought we were having a discussion.
I liked the first season of the TG USA. I liked the hosts for the most part. Rutledge had the most promise. But when they went to a format that no longer had any studio component, it got tired. The “stunt” bits are nice when they are bits, but as entire blocks of shows, it grew tired.
Yes, they are more popular...BECAUSE they are more durable.
3 years? Let me know if it’s still on the road when it’s 24 years old or older...like that poor old Lincoln
You won’t find as many beater Japanese cars as you will good old American RWD cars and trucks.
I have lots of neighbors who get their car washed instead of washing it in the driveway...but they also spend money to go to the gym. That’s a waste of time & money.
Look at that old beater car....Think that whackjob gives it regular oil changes? When was the last time it saw any service at all? Probably a decade ago? How come you never see old beater redneck Camrys or Accords like this?
I know it’s cool and all, and I want to like it. I’m sure I would I feel different if I had a chance to drive one....But on appearances alone it just looks soul-less to me. Kind’a like one of those generic super cars in a Grand Theft Auto game.
Sorry, not great pics. Just a small gathering at a recent C&C in Brandon, Fl. That’s my red Fox Mustang parked next to what would have been its old 80s/90s nemesis the Camaro (which had 25k on the clock and still had its factory option cellular phone installed into the console).
I’ve heard the only reason Buick survives today is because the brand is so popular in China.
Exterior design wise, I prefer the previous Cruze’s more masculine features. It looked really good lowered with some good meats underneath. The new one is far too anonymous in exterior appearance. I do like with Chevrolet has been doing with some interior bits and styling these days. .
Maybe that Acura TL Type-S was trying to kill itself....out of shame.
Well sure! I’d rather be in a Previa....if it were still running.
