This is awesome! And Omg a Cressida?! For as many of those that were built and the supposedly superior Toyota quality, you certainly don’t see a beater one on the road, at least not as much as I still see 80's era LTDs and Caprices.
But it was still on the road. That’s the true testament to quality. Not a show car that was cared for, but an old daily driver
great article! thanks for this.
Fox Mustang prices are on the rise. A beater will cost to much to make durable enough for drifting. A good one is too costly to acquire now. Maybe the next gen SN95s would make a better choice?
Curious as to what would be a good expendable drift car?
I own an identical Fost but it’s a 2016 with the “snowflake’ wheels. Had it new since August 2016. Here’s what I can report;
Screw the 2 door....give us an ST wagon!
I do exactly this for a living.
Or...for the price of two Rebels you’d get Street Twin! ;)
I was an SVT Focus owner, and wanted the next gen Focus really bad, the C30 was as close as I could get and I dug it, but couldn’t afford it. Still think it’s a great looking car.
I know it will cost a little more, but you get waaaay more bike for your cash with a new Triumph Bonneville Street Twin. It offers an easy ride for beginners, but it’s also a bike you can grow with. A bike that can be modified to your taste as time goes on (huge aftermarket). Also keep in mind, in short order you’ll…
You had me at Reatta EV.
Uhg...those chrome wheels. Geez.
Good. Now axe the fugly Prius, and rerelease the CT200h as a “restyled” Prius.
I think you’re missing the point
That little purple turd has a factory header. nice.
I suppose the McLaren P1 LM is a production car, but come on man....really? Saying that’s a “production car” is like catogorizing Dom Pérignon as a carbonated beverage.
I keep scouting the ads and CL for a good deal on a Ecoboost Flex. Arguably one of the best modern sleepers.
Driving up and down snow and ice covered winding roads through the Swiss Alps in an underpowered manual VW diesel Vanagon (which often required downshifts to first) fully laden with passengers and video gear clogging up traffic, complete with horn honking, while a pregnant video producer moaned and puked from motion…
