"Who let the Malibu in the picture!?" - just writing what everyone was thinking...
or even a twincharger - supercharger for instant power and turbo spools before the supercharger loses it power range...
This 1.4L little Fiat disagrees with your "turbos sound bad" hypothesis...
Maybe they are intentionally leaving the roll protection out in order to thin the herd of those actually wanting to buy such a "hardcore" car in convertible form...Chevy you sly dog you...
Car = AWESOME! ; Video = AWESOMER! ; Anyone know what song/artist that music is?
I thought this was about the jacked up GT-R, not BMWs...

THIS. IS. AWESOME!!!
Nice! Mine is a black '04, 3" turboback with high-flow cat, but a big camaro style muffler out back - still loud!
Yay, I wasn't going to throw my car out there, but for a stock turbo shitbox, it is SUPER loud with plenty if burbles and pops, not unlike the new Fiat 500 Abarth. No mufflers, largish exhaust pipe with only resonators + turbo spool and whistle = LOUD!!!
I just came 9 times - the Mercedes didn't quite get me there, but the Batmobile took me home...I need a nap...
Ha, I just went to look for that at Allpar: Copperhead Concept
Chrysler T&C and, Terry Crews - AKA "TC" - BOOM!
Personally, I like the base Cooper's front end over the S's. The chrome horizontal bars and lack of big rectangular "dimples" on either side of the front intercooler make it look less, I don't know, scream-facey, if you catch my drift. The Cooper is a bit more understated, more traditional. I think it works better…
