The 2's are nicely proportioned but the engines are clearly different. The 228i has a 2.0L 4-cyl. that gets out 245hp with the help of BMW's TwinPower Turbo: A TwinScroll supercharger and direct fuel injection. Two automatic transmissions are available: An 8-speed or an auto with paddle shifters and launch control.

Yeah, I was thinking the same. It will be much more reasonable in height and wheel size if put into production. And honestly, while I thought the MB GLA (based on the CLA front driver) was awkard, I saw it in person at the LA auto show this weekend, and it's actually much more attractive than it's sedan counterpart:

Yeah, I went to the LA Auto Show yesterday, and I DO NOT care for the changes, both Minis base and S look a little scared and too pudgy...Shockingly though, the S has a significantly goofier bumper/fascia thing happening - the base Cooper is more attractive, although still not very good loking
