I think it’s two fold. They don’t seem to have any rhythm on defense. And offensively, there’s no harmony. Without rhythm and harmony, they aren’t even what they pretend to be.

While I might be a stan, I’m not blind. KD’s defense can be tremendous and is generally very good. Curry tops out at “surprisingly decent.” That said, his range and style changed the entire league and he’s an entire offense by himself in a way no player of the last twenty years has been.
